Petyak First Time Victor In Dog Hollow Super Late Models; Hardy,
Torqautto and Young Repeat winners

STRONGSTOWN, PA (July 30, 2021) – Second generation driver Joe Petyak, of Gallitzin, scored his first MCS Super Late Model win at the Dog Hollow Speedway on Friday night. Linden , VA driver Kyle Hardy won his fourth of season in the Townsend Gas & Oil RUSH Late Models, Bob Torquatto took his fourth in the AMSOIL/Ron’s Collision Center RUSH Stock Cars. Cody Young won his second straight and third overall in the Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders.

The MCS Super Late Models were first to hit the track for their 25-lap feature. Joe Petyak took off from his pole starting spot and led the field in to turn one. Petyak opened up a lead over the field as the pack battled behind him. Chad McClellan and Michael Lake battled hard for second and eventually caught the flying Petyak. The trio ran away from the field. McClellan was glued to Petyak’s bumper as the pair diced its way through some lapped traffic. Petyak turned back all advances to claim his first Super victory. Petyak has seven wins at the track. Seven in 4 Cylinders and 2 in Crates. McClellan was second over Michael Lake , Dave Blazavich, Clint Hersh, John Wayne Weaver, Del Rougeux, Brett Bingamen and Andy Komlosky, Jr. Petyak and Weaver were the heat winners.

McIntyre’s Cody Young led all 12-laps to win his second straight in the Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinder feature. Young fought off the challenges of Tyler Laughard for seven laps before ninth starting Ray Dallape took up the chase. Dallape would settle for second ahead of Noah Swank, Michael Sinclair, Ashton Daughenbaugh, Jesse Laughard, Todd Davis, Adam Ellis, Tim Baker and Bill Eckenrode. Dylan Young, Michael Sinclair and Cody Young were the heat winners.

Joe Martin jumped in to the lead at the drop of the green flag in the 20-lap Townsend Gas & Oil RUSH Late Model feature. Martin had a decent lead until a yellow on lap 15. Fifth starting Kyle Hardy put a clean slide job going into turn one and took the lead from Martin. Hardy went on to lead the final five laps for hi fourth win of the season. Martin was second over Michael Duritsky, Joe Martin, Levi Corwl, Kyle Martin, Tim Snare, Logan Jaquay, Rob Coffaro and Rudy Bassaro. Heats were won by Martin and Hardy.

Johnsotwn’s Bob Torquato won for fourth division feature in the AMSOIL/Ron Collision Center RUSH Stocks Cars.
